Do What Pays The Bill, Not Your Passion.
If what you studied in school is not paying the bills or giving you the life you desire, SWITCH.
There’s no place in the constitution that states that you must stick to a profession/career that’s not taking care of you until death or old age.
Forget all those “I’m a biochemist, I’m a zoologist” etc. You’ll be there with the big names while worrying about money all your life.
Just because you spent 4 years or more in a course doesn’t mean you should die there if it’s not serving its purpose of improving your life.
Many great and high earning programmers, copywriters, and writers are medical Doctors, lawyers and engineers.
If you can combine your profession with a side hustle, great, if you cannot, switch to what pays you.
The internet has made life a lot easier. You may not need to physically go back to the classroom. You can acquire sellable skills online at a snap of a finger.
There are many graduates who are doing well in other fields now other than what they studied.
My wife’s tailor is a lawyer and she is in money now as a result of her fashion business.
My own elder brother has two degrees (at distinction levels in engineering) but it was furniture making that made him.
My mentor left medical practice for commercial agriculture. There are only very few medical doctors in Nigeria now who can boast of being as rich as she is.

Do not ever think that your education is wasted if you have switched or about to do so or you’re not practicing what you studied. You’ve gotten the education and the experience, which will help you in navigating through life in many other ways.
Do not join those whose first degree has not paid bills and they’re going to do masters, hoping it will change things. Sometimes it doesn’t.
